Innovate Dublin - Alliance Science Fair Seminar Series Power

Are you ready to explore big ideas, solve real-world problems, and bring your curiosity to life?

The Innovate Dublin – Alliance Science Fair Seminar Series is your opportunity to turn questions into discoveries — with hands-on support from scientists, engineers, and mentors to help you design and present your very own science or engineering project for the Alameda County Science and Engineering Fair (ACSEF)!

This free, district-wide program is open to all 6th–12th grade students in the Dublin Unified School District.

Whether you’re passionate about the environment, technology, biology, space, or human behavior, this is your chance to ask bold questions, build creative solutions, and gain real-world experience in STEM.

Program Goals

  •  Help students design and complete original science or engineering projects.
  • Support project growth through three interactive seminars and mentoring workshops.
  • Build confidence, critical thinking, and real-world communication skills.

Prepare students to participate in the Alameda County Science and Engineering Fair (ACSEF) — and beyond.

How It Works

Students participate in a three-part seminar series with expert speakers and mentorship to guide them step-by-step through the science fair process:

  • October 25, 2025 – Applying & Choosing a Great Project
Learn how to navigate the ACSEF application process and choose a research question that excites you.
  • December 6, 2025 – Experimentation & Data Collection
Explore how to design experiments, collect and analyze data, and understand the real-world impact of your work.
  • January 31, 2026 – Presenting Like a Scientist + Innovate Dublin Expo
Master presentation skills, receive feedback from mentors, and showcase your project at the Innovate Dublin Expo. All projects are eligible to compete at ACSEF.

No prior science fair experience is required — just bring your curiosity, and we’ll help you turn it into discovery!
